Bhartiya Janata Party Lok Sabha candidates for general election 2014

Wednesday, February 19, 2014
Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), the only party which had declared its Prime Minister candidate before election is expected to be gaining due to anti incumbency factor and anti Congress wave. Here is the list of candidates of BJP along with their constituencies and state from which they will be contesting the election of Lok Sabha 2014.

In Parliamentary election 2009, BJP contested at 443 Lok sabha constituencies winning merely 116 seats while at 170 constituencies the deposits of the candidates were forfeited. In Lok Sabha election 2014, the wave is in favor of BJP and Narendra Modi and almost all the opinion polls showed BJP emerging as the single largest party though not reaching majority figure. However to capitalize the wave, it is necessary to field good candidates at all Lok Sabha constituencies which should be universally acceptable. Further a fruitful bargain should be done with alliances of BJP, Shiv Sena and Shiromani Akali Dal.
